About the event

The theme of this year’s event is Realizing Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Girls and Women. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for action. African Views organization teams up with the Global Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation to promote Gender Harmony and Corporate Social Responsibility within the context of the Anti Violence Against Women Act (AVAWA).
