WHAT WE ARE

African Views is an American nonprofit Organization in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council with focus on the wellbeing of Society by promoting cultural sustainability and cultural harmony through social research, Media, community assessment, resource mapping, and project development.

WHAT WE DO
African Views (AV) provides research, reviews, analysis, and activities that support its mission, which is to promote cultural sustainability and cultural harmony within the universal socio-cultural symbiosis.

AIM

The organization aims to identify, analyze, discover, and publicize interdependent cultural conflicts, their root causes, and encourage as well as serve as a guide towards practical solutions.

PURPOSE

The purpose is to advocate, coordinate, and facilitate the improvement of social and economic integral ties that are facing historical,
immediate, and future challenges due to racial, ethnic, systemic, traditional, gender, or intergenerational conflict.

WHY WE MUST EXIST

Africa has for generations now, been viewed through a complex web so pervasive and so glib that its true values and capabilities are significantly undermined, underestimated, and underpriced. While much of this can be blamed on historical experiences, the immediate challenges remain to be the need to develop sustainable and improved conditions of living for most people of African descent and indigenous tribes everywhere. African Views was created to help mobilize a fresh understanding of our collective responsibilities and encourage appropriate roles within the universal socio-cultural ecosystem for purpose of consensus, right actions, wellbeing, and peace of all. The basis of African Views existence is rooted in this appeal.

VISION

Peace (Cultural Sustainability). Security (Justice, balance, Stability). Global Partnership (Cultural Harmony)

ACTION PLAN

The inspiration behind the establishment of African Views comes from the collective beauty of diversity of Africans on the continent and in the diaspora and the opportunity surrounding the need to fill the existing intercultural gaps either through the correction of false beliefs, miseducation and misdirection or create new pathways to authentic and sustainable empathy through truth, justice, and reconciliation within the socio-cultural symbiotic ecosystem.

OBJECTIVE

Develop and implement sustainable strategic solutions for socio-cultural problems and challenges we face modern and developing societies. (promoting peace and justice without discrimination or malice to none).

Please see our brochure and note that few things have changed since 2016 when the brochure was created. Our personnel, associates, and board have changed, and our services and advocacies have expanded. However, the brochure reflects the detail of the African Views Framework. It also shows our ability but does not reflect our capabilities which have grown significantly over the years. We are not operating at our potential. There is room for growth at all levels.  Also, be informed that our website is currently under reconstruction.
